If you’ve been hanging around this site or have been reading my work for long enough, you know how much of a fan I am of Basketball Monster, or BBM as it’s affectionately known. I’m pleased to announce that the good folks at BBM have graciously offered a discount membership to busersports users. All you have to do is click this link and the regular $24.95 season rate will be reduced to $17.95. Here’s a sampling of what a membership gets you:
* In-Season Projections – View updated rankings throughout the season.
* Weekly Projections – View projections for the upcoming week.
* Team Players – Store your league teams and players.
* Advanced Team Analysis – Analyze your team based on projected rankings.
* Advanced Trade Analysis – Analyze trades based on projected rankings.
* Head-to-Head Tools – Plan and track your head-to-head matchups.
* Fantasy Boxscores – View boxscores from a fantasy-perspective.
* Advanced Schedule Grid – Analyze each team’s remaining schedule.
I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this offer, as BBM has been a resource that I’ve personally not been able to do without for a number of seasons.

is there any way we can get retroactive discounts? I mean, ive already purchased it so i could use it for my draft and week 1, unfortunately the news of the discount just came about and was wondering if they would honor it retroactively
Bummer that I had already signed up. But still worth it even at full price. It’s a great site to get an understanding of stats and how they will affect your team. I couldn’t imagine not using them.
Dangit, I just signed up two days ago. I posted a question on the message board about the validitiy of the data, I guess this post answers my question.
don’t bemoan the discount, you got the better deal if you used it for your draft. but i would also recommend basketballmonster to anyone who is not in my league.
Sites like this is only important before u draft. Once the season starts the value plummets hence the price cut. Maybe u can still use it to gage trades/trade targets but then u gotta be sure the other guy is active. Finding active members in ur league is so hard why I like the Buser leagues.
I dont need their info I drafted this team and was able to scoop Frye off waivers for Augustine.
12 H2H Roto – I had 72 3ptm this week. Buser you could learn from this… and Smith (my 3 pt specialist didnt even play). Lost TO’s this week and tied in rebounds. 7-1-1 first place.
Any weaknesses??? I think Assists TO’s steals and rebounds are suspect.
1. (11) Brandon Roy
2. (14) Chris Bosh
3. (35) David West
4. (38) Andrea Bargnani
5. (59) Mo Williams
6. (62) Jameer Nelson
7. (83) J.R. Smith
8. (86) Greg Oden
9. (107) Joakim Noah
10. (110) Trevor Ariza
11. (131) Aaron Brooks
12. (134) D.J. Augustin
13. (155) Brandon Jennings
Heh, really nice team with Ariza, Brooks, and Jennings. I should stop listening to the ESPN and rotoworld idiots when it comes to Ariza and Brooks. I was totally focused on reaching for Ariza and Brooks, but they all said NO, they can’t shoot, etc…
Nice picks for Roy and Bosh. Who else did you have available at 11? Bosh is a great pickup at 14. Not a big fan of David West, but I suppose 35 is okay. You certainly reached for Bargnani at 38. He’s good, but he’s not 4th round material.
I like the Mo Williams and Jameer Nelson picks. J.R. Smith is perhaps the worst pick you could have done; he’s too unpredictable and inconsistent. Greg Oden is solid and so is Noah at 107. Maybe you should drop Augustin soon.
Yeah, your team is pretty solid. You’re not going to be dominant in turnovers, steals, blocks, nor rebounds, but you won’t be too bad either. You will be solid in percentages, points, and 3s. You’ll be average in assists thanks to Brooks and Jennings.
I would suggest making a few trades to go after more difficult to get categories such as assists and blocks.
Thank Buse, I thought $24.95 was too expensive. Now that you’re endorsing it for $18, I suppose I’ll pay for it.
My new team in a 10-team H2H league after 2 recent trades… I will be punting FG%. What do you guys think?
From highest to lowest in current value:
1. Kobe Bryant – SG (received via trade)
2. Kevin Durant – SG/SF (received via trade)
3. Al Jefferson – C (pick 11)
4. Jason Kidd – PG (received via trade)
5. Gilbert Arenas – PG (pick 30)
6. Jameer Nelson – PG (pick 51)
7. Anthony Randolph – SF/PF (pick 70)
8. Jason Terry – PG/SG (pick 71)
9. Brandon Jennings – PG (Used #1 waiver pickup for him)
10. Andrei Kirilenko – SF (received via trade)
11. Leandro Barbosa – SG (If he keeps having crappy games, I will drop)
12. Kendrick Perkins – C (using him to win blocks for this week)
13. Larry Hughes – SG (Had an excellent game. Waiting to see if he’ll produce in this week’s 4-game week.
Wow, Larry Hughes is off to such a great start. I’ll have to use my #1 waiver on Jennings and drop Barbosa instead.
Is this a legit score line for Hughes. He screwed me last year when I took him on the Knicks. As well, when Nate-Rob comes back in a couple weeks, won’t this affect him tremendously!?
It can’t hurt to take him for a two-week ride. That’s exactly what I’m doing right now. I dropped Leandro Barbosa for him.
